Ghoddousi earlier said that 100 Iranian MPs have signed a petition to question the foreign minister.
However Iranian deputy foreign minister, Hassan Ghashghavi said that only 40-50 MPs have signed the petition.
He added that Zarif earlier attended the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission and responded the questions but the MPs were not satisfied the responses.
Talks between Iran and the P5+1 group (the US, UK, France, Russia, China plus Germany) is extended until July 1, 2015 to reach a comprehensive nuclear agreement.
After the sides failed to meet the 24 Nov. 2014 deadline they also extended the Geneva nuclear deal, which was signed in November 2013 for providing Iran with some sanctions relief in exchange for Tehran agreeing to limit certain aspects of its nuclear activities.
In Later December, at least 30 Iranian conservative MPs addressed a letter to Mohammad Sarafraz, the head of Iran`s state radio and television broadcasting (IRIB), renewing their demand for an opportunity to have air time on television, to talk about the Geneva nuclear deal before the public.
President Hassan Rouhani has faced serious challenges with hardliners in ongoing talks with six world powers. They argue that the results of the nuclear talks are against the Iranian people`s interests so far.
