Azerbaijan to apply new rules for immediate freezing of assets suspected of financing terrorism

Azerbaijan to apply new rules for immediate freezing of assets suspected of financing terrorism

Azerbaijan will apply new rules for the immediate freezing of assets suspected of being used to finance terrorism.

In this regard, new Chapter 40-4 will be added to the Code of Civil Procedure.

The new chapter will include articles on the immediate freezing in a judicial way of assets owned by individuals and legal entities who are found guilty of financing terrorism.

The draft decision will be drafted at the parliament’s plenary session on Oct. 14.
