Azerbaijani president issues order on promotion of “Made in Azerbaijan” brand in foreign markets
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has issued a decree on approval of “Rules on determination and regulation of payment mechanism of a part of expenditures allocated from the state budget for organization of export missions to foreign countries, studying of foreign markets and marketing activity, promotion of “Made in Azerbaijan” brand in the foreign markets, obtaining of certificates and patents on export by local companies in foreign countries, research-development program on export”.

AZN 3 million was allocated from President’s Reserve Fund to the Ministry of Economy for funding of abovementioned measures.

According to the decree, the form of “Report on works done for stimulation of export of Azerbaijan-origin non-oil products” was also approved.

Jointly with the Ministries of Finance and Economy, the Cabinet of Ministers is to provide estimation of the funds required for abovementioned measures in the drafts state budget for 2017 and next three years. The Ministry of Finance is to provide funding.
