The ceremony is held at the State theatre and concert hall in Grozny. It was opened by the speaker of the Chechen Parliament Magomed Daudov, who invited Kadyrov to the rostrum for the oath of office in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic.

“I swear in exercising the powers of the head of the Chechen Republic to respect and protect the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, to abide by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, to respect and defend the Constitution of the Chechen Republic, to faithfully serve the multinational people”, — said Kadyrov in Russian and Chechen languages, placing his hand on the Constitution.

Crowded hall with the national anthems of Russia and Chechnya stood and applauded the President, dressed in national costume and hat.

The area in front of a concert hall festively decorated in bas-relief – the state flags of Russia and Chechnya, lined with red carpet from the road to the entrance to the hall, on both sides of the lined up cadets of the Suvorov military school. Kadyrov was held in the building through this system on the track. In the life of Kadyrov, who is now 40 years old, this is the third ceremony of inauguration, but the first time he does it as the people’s choice.
