Georgian media: Some countries are in talks to benefit from BTK
Georgian media reports have suggested that some countries are conducting negotiations as they want to benefit from the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway.
BTK project enjoys growing interest, with experts believing that the railroad will carry an estimated 17 million tons of freight per year.

At the initial stage it will transport one million passengers and 6.5 million tons of cargo.

The construction of the Georgian part of BTK has already been completed, and the railroad is expected to be fully operational in 2015.
