He made the remarks in the international conference on the 25th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s independence titled “Azerbaijan`s role in global and regional arena: Realities and Perspectives" that was organized by the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Oct.7.
He said Azerbaijan has built up a powerful army that showed its power during April clashes. “The main problem Azerbaijan has faced is the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Great progress could be reached in the settlement of Karabakh conflict through "Kazan" formula this year. Armenia`s blockade could be removed after return of some part of territories. Unfortunately, it failed,” he said.
