Former head of Arab League to take part in forum in Baku
The former head of the League of Arab States (LAS), a famous Egyptian diplomat Amr Moussa will arrive in Baku in April 2015, the press service of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan told on Jan.7.
Moussa will take part in the III Global Forum of joint companies, organized by the International Center of Nizami Ganjavi and the Club of Madrid with the support of the State Committee.

During the meeting with representatives of the Secretariat of the International Center of Nizami Ganjavi in Cairo, Egyptian diplomat stressed the importance of holding of the international forum in Azerbaijan on the theme “Building trust in the new world order.” Moussa said that the participation of the most influential politicians in the event will enhance its credibility.

A prominent political figure of the Arab world, Amr Moussa served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt in 1991-2001. In 2013, Moussa was one of the candidates for president of Egypt, and was later appointed the head of the commission to amend the constitution of Egypt. The Arab diplomat held the post of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Egypt to Sweden, India in different years, and also was the head of the Permanent Mission of Egypt to the United Nations.
