SOCAR’s investment portfolio in Turkey reaches $18B
SOCAR’s investments in Turkey will reach $18 billion by purchasing Aliaga terminal of Petrol Ofisi A.S., SOCAR Turkey Energy CEO Zaur Gahramanov said Oct. 10.
According to him, SOCAR is proud of being biggest investor directly investing in Turkey: “These investments are related to our confidence in Turkey. Capacity of the terminal makes up 200,000 cubic meters. In the future, the capacity may be increased up to 700,000 cubic meters. Moreover, the terminal has a storage for 45,000 cubic meters of LPG. The terminal will used as a transportation point and depot for STAR refinery. This project is a part of planned logistics strategy”.
