The Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov made a speech.
He said despite the efforts of Azerbaijan, Armenian military-political leadership is not taking any positive step to resolve the conflict. “No progress is achieved in the negotiations due to non-constructive position of Armenia, international law is being violated. As noted the Supreme Commander-in-chief, Armenia tries to remove this issue from the global agenda and extend the time through dirty tricks. We must prevent it and achieve soonest resolution of the conflict,” he added.
The minister said the Armenians continue provocations on the frontline. “Azerbaijani army resolutely prevents constantly increasing provocations and will take more decisive measures,” he noted.
“We are full aware of military characteristics of the missiles that Armenia displayed. The military balance in this region hasn’t switched in favor of the enemy. We have taken full advantage in all directions. In response to the several devices that can be used by the enemy, our Armed Forces are able to strike those missiles from thousands of its missiles and ammunitions and destroy the entire military infrastructure of the enemy in any distance,” stressed minister.
Hasanov said, the threats made by the Armenians on use of those missiles are nothing but fiction.
“The April battles should be a lesson to the opposite side. However, they seemed not to take a lesson from it. The response to another provocation of the enemy will be more devastating and crushing”, noted the minister.
