The Azerbaijani MP touched upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Khojaly genocide committed by the Armenian Armed Forces in 1992 and the recent hostage crisis in Erebuni, Armenia. He also spoke about the coup d`état that was attempted in Turkey and the constitutional referendum that was recently held in Azerbaijan.
