Azerbaijan is intending to develop the pharmaceutical industry as the country depends on the import, said Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev said in a joint press statement with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in Baku Oct. 14.
President Aliyev said he had a discussion with the Pakistani PM on the establishment of joint enterprises in the pharmaceutical industry, noting that Pakistan is one of the leading countries in this field.
