An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale struck off the Philippines coast on Monday.
An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale struck off the Philippines coast on Monday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.

The earthquake occurred at 21:45 GMT on Monday at a depth of 65 kilometers (about 40 miles), 8 kilometers (about 5 miles) east–northeast of San Isidro, Philippines, according to the USGS. No information on casualties or damage from the quake has been provided yet.
