French law enforcement officers began to negotiate with terrorists
The officers of the anti-terrorist unit of the French police special forces have begun talks with two men, who took people hostages in the country
Earlier on Jan. 9, two unidentified persons armed with automatic weapons, stole a car in the Oise department.

Later, they exchanged fire with the police on a highway in the Seine-et-Marne, and took some people hostages.

The police confirmed that the criminals, who took an unknown number of hostages in an industrial estate in the city of Dammartin-en-Goele, are the Kouachi brothers, wanted for committing a terrorist act in the office of the Charlie Hebdo.

Previously, the newspaper Parisien reported that two people were killed, and another 20 were injured during an attempt to arrest the suspects.
