“A few days ago a new government was formed in Croatia. It is quite ambitious for creating a better environment aimed at increasing jobs and investment,” she said.
The president stressed the need to give impetus to the activities of the Croatian-Azerbaijani join economic commission.
She said that all necessary measures should be done for organizing the first meeting of the commission which will expand business relations between the two countries.
“I believe the Croatian Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan will get a status of successful embassy. We will try our embassy in Azerbaijan even more active,” added Grabar-Kitarovic. “This morning we also discussed political ties between the two countries. I think our relations will promote peace and stability in Eurasia.”
Croatia is a staunch supporter of cooperation in the energy sector, the president said noting that energy security is very important not only for Croatia but also for all its neighbors.
