According to the Europa Press news agency, the detention was made during a special operation in La Rioja province in the north of the country. The man is suspected of glorifying and promoting Daesh activities.
Following the Madrid train bombings in 2004, Spanish security forces have already conducted 181 anti-terror operations and made over 690 terror-related arrests.
