Armenian provocation prevented during Unity Day march in Moscow
Azerbaijanis took an active part in the march held in Moscow on Friday on the occasion of the Day of People`s Unity, Shamil Tagiyev, executive director of the Moscow office of the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress, told AzVision.az.

During the march, joined by the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress, the Development and Renaissance Foundation of Azerbaijani Culture, he Azerbaijani-Slavic Youth Association, numerous Azerbaijani flags, national artifacts, slogans as well as music tracks by the Karabakh ensemble were displayed.

Taghiyev noted that a group of Armenians attempted to raise the flag of the so-called Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, but they were prevented by police and the Federal Security Service after the incident drew harsh reaction from Azerbaijanis.

“A Russian Presidential Administration official, who was attending the march, also condemned the attempt,” he added.
