Polish prosecutors probe incident with canister found at Embassy in Berlin
The District Prosecution Office in Warsaw has launched an investigation into the incident at the Polish Embassy in Berlin, in which unidentified people planted a canister with unknown liquid on the territory of the diplomatic mission.
According to the Polish RMF radio station, the judicial basis for the investigation might be the risk of fire, endangering the life and health of a large number of people and causing massive damage. Such an offense is punishable by a term of imprisonment of up to eight years.

The polish prosecutors investigate the incident in cooperation with German prosecutors and consider hooliganism and politically motivated actions as the versions of the incident.

Polish specialists reportedly plan to examine the liquid inside the canister, question the embassy`s employees and analyze the recordings of the security cameras.

Last weekend an official of the Polish embassy found a canister with flammable liquid and a burnt piece of fabric on territory of the embassy in the German capital.
