He made the remarks Monday speaking to the international conference on intellectual property policy and scientific research in universities and other scientific-research and practical-constructor facilities.
The minister noted that the expectations from higher education facilities are not limited to their operating as centers of science and knowledge.
“Rather universities could contribute to economic growth by applying the knowledge and technology. When scientific knowledge is not applied and when people do not benefit from it, the value of that knowledge becomes limited. By this means social demands are not met to the full extent,” he added.
