Global Corruption Barometer: Corruption Index decreased in Azerbaijan
`International Transparency` released the results of the Global Corruption Barometer 2016.
`The Corruption Index is high in Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine`, the reports says.

The results indicate the significant development in the field of corruption in Azerbaijan, AzVision.az reports.

79% of survey respondents note corruption is not so serious problem. 45% of respondents mention the decrease in the corruption index of Azerbaijan. Only 15% of respondents do not think that anti-corruption operations are not influential.

Corruption index in Azerbaijan decreases according to the results of survey. Besides, state services are presented as the least corrupted field. Significant decrease is observed in police and court system.

In contrast to results of the regional survey (33%), only 11% of respondents in Azerbaijan stated that high-ranking officials and politicians are not corruptionized. Moreover, 10 % of Azerbaijani respondents consider business as being corrupted which is higher in comparison with the previous years.
