2 killed, 33 wounded in Turkey`s Adana province blast - UPDATING
At least two people have died and 33 are injured after a car bomb exploded in southern Turkey.

The attack is believed to have been carried out by a woman with links to either Kurdish militants or Isis

The explosion took place just after 8:00am on Thursday in a car park near the government building in the city of Adana, and is believed to have been carried out by a woman with links to Kurdish militants or Isis.

The blast damaged the government building, according to Anadolu Agency, and video footage showed several cars caught fire after the explosion, with some of the wounded are reported to be in serious condition.

An explosion hit a parking lot close to the Adana Governor’s office, southern Turkey, reported Anadolu Agency on Thursday morning.

At least two people were killed and 21 were injured following the blast.

Thick black smoke was seen rising from the blast scene with citizens posting pictures and videos on Twitter.

Turkey`s Minister for EU Affairs, Omer Celik, tweeted: "I wish our wounded to immediate heal after this cowardly attack."

In a separate tweet, Celik wrote: "Cursed terrorists continue to target our people. In the name of humanity, we will fight this terror until the end."

The governor’s office building in the southern Turkish city of Adana was targeted in a bomb blast on Thursday, wounding five people, one of them seriously, Turkish media reported.

According to the video footage broadcast by Turkish TVs, a vehicle ablaze in the car park outside the office and thick black smoke rising into the sky in the city, around 40 km (25 miles) from Turkey’s eastern Mediterranean coast.

Reports also said that ambulances were set to the scene and it was not clear what caused the blast.
