State Housing Agency changed to public legal entity

Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev has today signed a decree on several measures regarding improvement of state management.

According to the decree, State Housing Agency under the President of Azerbaijan public legal entity will be established on the basis of State Housing Agency under the President of Azerbaijan which has legal status of central executive power body.

The Cabinet of Ministers is to prepare draft charter of the legal entities, as well as proposals on those exercising authorities of founders of the public legal entities and submit to the president within two months.

State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance to operate as public legal entity

Legal status of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance under the Cabinet of Ministers has been changed under the decree of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to the decree, the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance under the Cabinet of Ministers public legal entity will be established on the basis of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance under the Cabinet of Ministers which has legal status of central executive power body.

The Cabinet of Ministers is to prepare draft charter of the legal entities, as well as proposals on those exercising authorities of founders of the public legal entities and submit to the president within two months.

Special State Protection Service`s powers increased

Powers of the Special State Protection Service have been increased under the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to the decree, the State Courier Service under the Cabinet of Ministers, its powers and properties have been transferred to the Special State Protection

Public administration to be improved in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on some measures for the improvement of public administration.

According to the decree, public entities of the State Housing Agency under the President of Azerbaijan, Copyright Agency, State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, Azerbaijan State News Agency that has the legal status of "public body", State Historical-Architectural Reserve “Icherisheher” under the Cabinet of Ministers, Seaside Boulevard Department under the Cabinet of Ministers, Baku Transport Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance and Translation Centre under the Cabinet of Ministers have been created.

Moreover, the authority of the State Courier Service under the Cabinet of Ministers has been transferred to the Special State Protection Service.

Baku Transport Agency changed to public legal entity

Legal status of the Baku Transport Agency has been changed under the decree of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to the decree, the Baku Transport Agency public legal entity will be established on the basis of the Baku Transport Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers which has legal status of central executive power body.

The Cabinet of Ministers is to prepare draft charter of the legal entities, as well as proposals on those exercising authorities of founders of the public legal entities and submit to the president within two months

State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources changed to public legal entity

Legal status of the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources has been changed under the decree of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to the decree, the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy public legal entity will be established on the basis of the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources.

The Cabinet of Ministers is to prepare draft charter of the legal entities, as well as proposals on those exercising authorities of founders of the public legal entities and submit to the president within two months.

Legal statuses changed of AZERTAC and four more state agencies

Upon the decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev, the legal statuses have been changed of the Azerbaijan State Information Agency (AZERTAC), the Copyright Agency, Icherisheher (Old City) State Historical-Architectural Reserve Office, the Translation Center under Cabinet of Ministers, and the Seaside Boulevard Department.

The aforementioned agencies have become public legal entities.
