“The EU-Azerbaijan visa facilitation and the readmission agreements’ entering into force will serve improving the relations between business communities, expansion of tourism and facilitating the travel of Azerbaijani citizens, working in the field of science, education and research, to EU countries. The protocol on the participation of Azerbaijan Republic in the EU programmes paves the way for capacity building of relevant government agencies and exchange of experience in economic, cultural and humanitarian fields,” the ministry stated.
According to the statement, Azerbaijan’s becoming a reliable partner in ensuring energy security of Europe, as well as Azerbaijan’s strategic partnership with a number of EU member states underline the necessity of the strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU.
