Armenian president ignors protest over atrocity by Russian soldier

Armenian president ignors protest over atrocity by Russian soldier

Tensions continue at the scene of Gyumri incidents.

Although Armenian government tries to prevent protests by arresting protesters or threatening them, protests against president still continues via mass media and social networks.

Sargsyan is considered as a main culprit for clashes. Some experts blames Armenian president for remaining purposefully indifferent towards Gyumri incidents. One of them Richard Giragosian, director of Yerevan’s Regional Studies Center sees this kind of policy pursued by Sargsyan as `silly` step.
