Azerbaijan increases workload by 1.5 times and salary by 2 times for teachers

Azerbaijan increases workload by 1.5 times and salary by 2 times for teachers

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on increasing the workload and salary of secondary school teachers who have passed diagnostic assessment of knowledge and skills.

According to the order, the weekly workload and salary of secondary school teachers who have passed diagnostic assessment of knowledge and skills will be increased by 1.5 times and 2 times respectively.

The order has entered into force since 1 January 2015.
