France appoints new Interior Minister who supports Armenian terrorism
The newly-appointed Interior Minister of France, Bruno Le Roux, is a member of the so-called France-Artsakh friendship circle, Hikmat Hajiyev, spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, told AzVision.az on Wednesday.
Hajiyev noted that Le Roux is on the blacklist of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.
“Le Roux, who was then a member of the French Parliament, went on a trip to the Armenian-occupied Azerbaijani territories in September 2015. As a result, his name was blacklisted by Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry,” he said. “Anyone—regardless of his position or identity—who has violated the laws, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan must be blacklisted. Everyone is equal before the law,” he also added.
`The external policy of France is similar with its internal policy, even worse than that. Besides, we feel the negative impact as France is one of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group,` Azerbaijani MP Sahib Aliyev said commenting on the decision of MFA.
- Everyone sees the inactivities of co-chairs. For that reason, there is not any slight development in the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. France is the most passive and negligent to the ongoing process in the region among co-chairs and it is more striking during Hollande`s presidency. French president appoints Bruno Le Roux who disrespected to Azerbaijani laws and visited the Armenian-occuppied Azerbaijani territories supporting the terrorist and separatist regime in Armenia. However, it is not the internal affair of France. If Bruno Le Roux who obviously supports the Armenian terrorism and separatism is appointed the Interior Minister in France, OSCE MG Co-Chair, the mediation of this country is not only under suspicion. The ineffectiveness of its mediation becomes clear.
