According to the order, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, SOCAR and the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC are to accelerate the search for and rescue of the oilmen that went missing in the accident.
The Cabinet of Ministers is to provide the victims’ families with financial and other assistance.
SOCAR is to determine the damage caused by the accident at the oil-gathering station #3 of the department on oil and gas output of Azneft Production Union and usability of the station, take emergency measures to eliminate the results of the accident, research the use of facilities and units in accordance with the technical security norms and rules and eliminate found shortcomings.
The General Prosecutor’s Office is to take urgent measures to investigate the reasons of the accident.
