Over 100 hospitalized in Indian cold snap
A cold snap has left more than 100 people hospitalized in the state of Bihar, eastern India.
According to local media, 63 people were admitted to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences with brain hemorrhages, while 38 more suffered heart attacks.

Most of those hospitalized are aged 60-75 as the Gaya district in Bihar reported a minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius. Authorities are preparing for an expected further drop in temperatures by organizing bonfires at 1,360 locations across the state, as well as giving out blankets to the poor and homeless.
