Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has awarded the jubilee medals “For distinguished labor” and “the 25th anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan” to Azerbaijani MP Maharram Maharramov of the country’s parliament, the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Diaspora told.
Maharramov, 45, whose ancestors were expelled from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan in 1937, was born in the Kazakh city of Taldykorgan.
