Necessary measures are taken by the State Commission on Hostages Prisoners of War and Missing Persons with the mediation of the relevant international organizations to receive the body of the soldier of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Gurbanov Chingiz, who was killed during the prevention of Armenian sabotage, the Commission told AzVision.az.
We reiterate that showing disrespect to the international humanitarian law, the Armenian side posted the photos of the dead body of the Azerbaijani soldier on social media and local Mass Media outlets and insulted the deceased soldier.
Unfortunately, the Armenians once again showed their mission to abuse this unlucky incident for their own ugly ambitions in a bid to mislead representatives of international organizations, showing their inhumane face to the Azerbaijani nation. This step is a severe violation of the requirements set in the Geneva Convention, dated August 12, 1949. The Armenian government holds responsibility for these actions which are contrary to the international law.
