Russia has no additional materials on Poland presidential plane crash
The Russian embassy in Poland on Monday responded to a note from Warsaw regarding President Vladimir Putin’s comments on December 23, in which he discussed the Polish presidential plane crash near Smolensk in April 2010.
The Russian president relied on known facts that “correspond to the results and conclusions of the investigation of the incident, which were made by official Russian and Polish commissions and bodies,” according to the embassy.

It added that key facts mentioned by Putin are confirmed by the deciphering of voice conversations on the flight cockpit recorder, and that the Polish side has authentic recordings of these conversations. Russia has no additional recordings concerning voice conversations in the cockpit of the Polish presidential plane, the embassy said.
