Azerbaijan and the World Bank (WB) have signed a loan agreement on the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) project, the WB Baku office told on Jan. 16.
The document was signed by Mercy Tembon, the WB regional director for the South Caucasus, and Afgan Isayev, head of the Southern Gas Corridor CJSC.
The WB allocated $400 million to Azerbaijan for the implementation of the project.
