Coal mine collapse in China kills nine
A total of nine people died as a result of a collapse of the coal mine in the northern Chinese province of Shanxi, Sputnik reported.
The incident occurred on Tuesday in the city of Shuozhou when miners carried out maintenance works, the Xinhua news agency reported.

The mine collapse left 10 people blocked below the ground. One miner was rescued and remains now in a hospital.

Causes of the incidents are unknown.
