One more fake signature in letter addressed to PACE
As we previously reported that a group of Civil Society activists from Azerbaijan addressed a letter to PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe) demanding to disqualify the right of the Azerbaijani delegation to vote. AzVision.az`s article titled `Letter trick to PACE` proved that not all of the signatories the names of which mentioned in the letter signed the agreement.

Although some of the `signatories` did not reflect on the issue, their names were added to the list saying that they `agreed`. In other words, `organizers `regard sending the text of the address to the email addresses of those people as `consent`.

Ilgar Gasimov, a chair of `Legal Aid` Public Union whose name was shown in the `signatories `list is one of the victims of organizers. He has not confirmed the address with his signature, he told AzVision.az:

`Emin Huseynov has sent the text of the address to me. He asked me to support the raised issue. I saw that the issue was politicized after becoming familiar with the text of the address. In other words, the issues noted in the address do not pertain to our mission. That`s why I refused to sign it. However, they regarded their email to me as a support. Otherwise, my name would not be in the list of signatories. I do not know the reason why they have put my name in that list. They may be in dire need of it`.

`I do not agree with the things noted in the address. As an NGO chair and lawyer, I consider this address groundless. In this regard, I have not signed it. It is inadmissible to deprive Azerbaijan of voting right in the PACE `, Gasimov added.
