Trumps arrive at Congressional luncheon
President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have arrived at Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol for a luncheon with members of Congress and other dignitaries, including Trump’s Cabinet nominees.
The newly inaugurated president greeted his campaign foe, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, and her husband, former president Bill Clinton.

As The Post’s Reliable Source has reported, Trump will dine on beef and potatoes, “though it sounds fancier when described as “Grilled Seven Hills Angus Beef with Dark Chocolate and Juniper Jus and Potato Gratin.”

Reliable Source also reported:

The party kicks off with a region-spanning “Maine Lobster and Gulf Shrimp with Saffron Sauce and Peanut Crumble” and finishes with a simple “Chocolate Soufflé and Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream.”One interesting note: Each course includes a wine pairing, but all three selections are Californian — not from Trump’s Virginia vineyard.
