Ilham Aliyev inaugurates new military town in Absheron

Ilham Aliyev inaugurates new military town in Absheron

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a newly-built military town of the country’s Defense Ministry in Pirakashkul settlement, Absheron district on Jan. 23.

Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, AzVision.az reported.

President Aliyev first laid flowers at the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The president cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the military town.

The head of state then viewed conditions created in the military town and met with servicemen.
