Czech education minister planning Baku visit

Czech education minister planning Baku visit

Czech Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Katerina Valachova plans to pay a visit to Baku, Czech Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vitezslav Pivonka told AzVision.az.

The exact date of the visit has not yet been agreed on but it will tentatively take place in June, according to him.

During the visit, Valachova will mull the further cooperation with colleagues from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Education and Ministry of Youth and Sport.

Over the last six years, Azerbaijani students studying in the Czech Republic were issued more than 400 long-term visas. Any foreigner is entitled to get free education in the country after passing exams in Czech language.
