“Previously, prices of imported goods were reduced rather than prices of exported goods. But now, ices of exported goods were reduced rather than prices of imported goods. State Customs Committee has established a Working Group. The Group will discuss these prices. Assessment should be conducted in order to prevent flow of money into the black market. Three ministries raised an issue before the government. We imposed tax on several products in order to increase local production and preserve domestic market”, SCC chairman said.

Unfortunately, several businessmen are trying to avoid tax by reducing prices of goods during import and export operations, Chairman of State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev said in the conference dedicated to the results of third year implementation of "The State Program on socio-economic development of the districts of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2014-2018".
