Members of the self-styled Donetsk People’s Republic report that their high-ranked commander, Mikhail Tolstykh, a.k.a Givi was killed at 6.12 a.m. Kyiv time, in what they claim to be a ‘terrorist attack by Ukraine’, AzVision.az reported citing the Foreign Media.
Since the beginning of the Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine Givi led the armed unit ‘Somalia’, which fought on the side of pro-Kremlin militants. In particular, he was among the separatists who mocked and tortured the Ukrainian defenders of Donetsk airport, some of which were forced to surrender and thus became POWs.
