Azerbaijanis living in Brussels to hold rally condemning Khojaly Genocide
The Belgium-Azerbaijan Friendship Community and the Center of Cooperation of Azerbaijanis and other Turkic-speaking peoples will hold series of events related to 25th anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide on 21-26 Feb, 2017 in Brussels, the center of European politics, the Press Service of the Council told AzVision.az.
The Chief of Sector on Work with Diaspora of the Presidential Administration`s Department for Social and Political Affairs, Gafar Aliyev, Chairman of Azerbaijan Press Council and MP Aflatun Amashov, the Chairman of the Center of Cooperation of Azerbaijanis and other Turkic-speaking peoples Ilham Ismayilov, the Deputy chairman of United Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Elchin Mirzebeyli will participate in the events, that are expected to hold with the financial support of the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijani Republic.

The representatives of the Turkish and Azerbaijani diaspora organizations, students and local people are expected to attend the rally which will be held in front of the building of the European Commission (Address: PLACE SCHUMAN square, 1000 Brussels) at 12.00-13.00, on Feb 24, 2017. Also, a commemorative ceremony on the 25th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide, perpetrated by the Armenian Armed Forces will be held in Brussels on Feb 23.
