Some members of the European Parliament intended to undermine Azerbaijan-EU ties, Samad Seyidov, Azerbaijani MP, chairman of the parliamentary Committee on international and inter-parliamentary relations, said on Tuesday, AzVision.az reported.
“During the Azerbaijani president’s recent visit to Brussels, some members of the European Parliament supposedly attempted to hold anti-Azerbaijani debates in order to undermine Azerbaijan-EU ties. However, this attempt remained a spot of shame in the history of the European Parliament as a personal initiative,” he added.
