Netherlands cancels Turkish minister’s visit after Ankara’s sanctions threat

Netherlands cancels Turkish minister’s visit after Ankara’s sanctions threat

The Netherlands have banned Turkish foreign minister's flight from landing after he threatened that such a move would prompt Turkey to impose sanctions against the Dutch, media in both countries report.

The escalation comes amid a row over Turkish presidential power referendum.
