Armed incident during elections in Armenia

A collision between supporters of Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian (ORO) bloc and the chief of the village of Jrarat in Armenia’s Armavir province was reported on Sunday, March 12. As a result, general Levon Eranosyan’s brother Lernik Eranosyan opened fire to the sky three times.
Aregnaz Manukyan, an ORO spokesman said, the disputes began after the village chief Samvel Galstyan who represents the ruling Republican Party threatened Ohanyan’s supporters.
During the collision Lernik Yeranosyan and Michael Baboyan injured. Several people have been detained.
