No decision on Russian UN ambassador candidacy as of yet - Kremlin
No decision on the candidacy of the Russian permanent representative to the United Nations has been made as of yet, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, AzVision.az reports citing TASS.
"There is no decision as of yet," he said.

Earlier, media reported referring to unnamed sources that Russia’s NATO Ambassador Alexander Grushko or Deputy Foreign Minister Anatoly Antonov were considered as possible candidates.

Vitaly Churkin, who had held the position of Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations since April 8, 2006, died on February 20, just a day ahead of his 65th birthday.
