Vienna to host meeting of PACE Sub-Committee on Conflicts in June
The PACE Sub-Committee on Conflicts between Member States of the Council of Europe will hold a meeting in Vienna in June, the head of the Azerbaijani Delegation to PACE, Samad Seyidov, told on Friday.
He said that organizational issues will be discussed at the meeting of the Monitoring Committee to be held in Helsinki May 15.

“The main meeting to be held in Vienna will focus on the Council of Europe member states suffering from conflicts,” he noted.

According to him, the format of the Sub-Committee has already been determined.

“This includes members of the Monitoring Committee, rapporteurs on member states, management of the Sub-Committee and the Monitoring Committee. I will also attend the meeting. Chair of the Sub-Committee is Stefan Schennach (Austria, SOC), who is also a co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan. Giuseppe Galati (Italy, EPP/CD) is the vice-chair of the Sub-Committee,” Seyidov added.
