AZAL becomes official partner of Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games
Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) and Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games Operations Committee signed an agreement on partnership on Mar. 30.
AZAL is a big air carrier and one of leaders in CIS region. The company carries out flights on 40 directions to 19 countries. AZAL was awarded with a prestigious “4 Star” rating by the British consulting company Skytrax, the famous and most influential in the field of the airlines’ service quality evaluation. Baku airport is also included in top list of airports among CIS countries and Russia.

Chief Operating Officer of Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games Mike Loynd noted the importance of partnership with air carriers in organization of international competitions and highlighted the significance of agreement signed with AZAL.

AZAL Vice-President Eldar Hajiyev noted that the Islamic Solidarity Games, to be held in Baku in 2017, is not only a sports event, but also an important historic event.

“We are confident that the Islamic Solidarity Games will be held at the highest level and are ready to provide any support in its promotion,” said Hajiyev.
