Baku to host next World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in 2015
Baku will host the next World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in 2015.
The first meeting of the Ministers of Culture is being held in Baku within the II World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.

The purpose of the meeting is preparation for the next Forum and adoption of the Action Plan for Intercultural Dialogue, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev said.

Earlier, the II World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue under the slogan "Peaceful co-existence in a multicultural world" has started its work in the Heydar Aliyev Center.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed cooperation on intercultural dialogue.

The Head of the UN Alliance of Civilizations, High Representative of the UN Secretary General Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser thanked the government of Azerbaijan for organizing the forum, which, in his opinion, will strengthen trust between the different cultures.

Culture and tourism create exceptional conditions for informing people and broadening their horizons, he said.

The development of intercultural dialogue will make an important contribution to peace and stability in the world, said Al-Nasser.
