Kiev military have opened fire on Russian reporters and local civilians during evacuation of the residents from the village of Chernukhino in eastern Ukraine, thus violating the earlier reached truce, a correspondent of the LuganskInformCentre reported from the site.
"Kiev mercenaries - Chechens, according to preliminary reports - have broken the truce during evacuation of peaceful residents and opened fire," the news agency of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) said in a report. One person was wounded.

"Russian reporters - Dmitry Malyshev and Artem Kol came under shelling as well," it said. The reporters were not injured.

One of the reporters, Artyom Kol, said, "We witnessed the fighting that began during the evacuation of peaceful citizens of the Chernukhino village. A subversive group of Ukraine’s security forces opened fire on civilians."

At that moment, the Luhansk republic’s militias returned fire to cover peaceful citizens and also journalists working on the frontline, the Russian reporter said.

Earlier in the day, LPR leader Igor Plotnitsky said that an agreement had been reached with Kiev military to open a humanitarian corridor at 10.00 a.m. for evacuation of residents from the village of Chernukhino located in the area of combat activities

At least 50 people managed to leave the village in their personal cars by midday.
