“Russia must know that the decision taken by the Supreme Court can seriously damage its relations with Azerbaijan,” Huseynli, who is also the head of the Azerbaijan-Russia inter-parliamentary relations working group, said addressing a parliamentary meeting on Tuesday, AzVision.az reported.
He noted that Azerbaijan has always supported and put priority on its relations with Russia in all international platforms, calling on Russia to take the same position.
“Strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia has reached a high-level in recent years,” he added.
