Valerius Simulik praised developing relations between the two countries.
Mr. Nabizade spoke about similarities between Azerbaijan and Lithuania. They discussed bilateral inter-parliamentary ties, cooperation within the regional and international organizations, as well as the current state of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Mr. Nabizade said 20 per cent of Azerbaijan`s territories were occupied by the Armenian Armed Forces. “UN Security Council has adopted 4 resolutions on immediate, unconditional withdrawal of Armenian Armed Forces from the occupied Azerbaijan`s lands. Armenia refuses to honor these resolutions,” he added.
Members of Lithuanian Parliament said they support Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
