TANAP needs 1-2 billion cubic meters of gas for testing
Earlier, Gahramanov said SOCAR Turkey Energy will acquire the share from SOCAR.
The CEO also noted that TANAP plans to test the pipeline in January 2018: “As of April 2017, 72.4% of works have been completed. In January 2018 we intend to start testing. Currently, we are discussing what gas will be used in testing. Most probably, we’ll use gas purchased from SOCAR or BOTAS. Negotiations are still underway. We’ll need 1-2 billion cubic meters of gas for testing”.
Gahramanov added that the pipeline will be commissioned in mid-2018.
